Congratulations to Joshua Campbell who has earned GMG's Student Spotlight for the month of February!
Joshua Campbell has been a GMG student since he was 4 years old. He's in the 7th grade and attends Blythewood Middle School where he's also involved in his school band. His drum instructor, Mr. Jenkins said, "I’ve seen a lot of growth in Joshua. He’s been working really hard to improve his technique and it hasn’t been easy. However, his positive attitude has allowed him to persevere through the process of becoming a better musician."
We truly appreciate our GMG parents and know that our student's accomplishments wouldn't be possible without their support, so we also give a shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Campbell! When asked about Joshua's character he said, "Josua has gradually stepped into a leadership role with the GMG Drumline. None of this would be possible without the work that he’s done when he’s away from GMG. In addition to being involved in other activities, he’s only missed one home assignment the whole year due to a family trip that was eventually made-up. The biggest thing for me is that I can see that he’s beginning to feel the growth and it’s boosted his work ethic, he wants “it” more. It’s very exciting to witness as his teacher. I’m excited about his future!"
GMG's Student Spotlights recognize students who are exceptionally demonstrating growth and musically excelling. We are so grateful to be associated with these fantastic students!
